The Strategy & Operations Director supports the development and execution of nursing strategic plans, provides support for strategic programs/initiatives, and manages the nursing operating model in support of the overall Nursing strategy. As a part of this role, the Strategy & Operations Director owns a significant portion of project responsibility, overseeing project teams to ensure work is completed in a quality and timely fashion to meet business objectives, and managing workflows across multiple projects. In addition to being highly organized, results-driven, and detail-oriented, this candidate must demonstrate strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides strategy/operational support for strategic initiatives including:

· Breaking down complex problems into discrete tasks to scope projects into a defined set of tasks, responsibilities, and timelines and lead project execution

· Providing answers to questions, detailing strategic implications and offering unique insights

· Planning, organizing, and facilitating medium-to-large strategy and design sessions for strategic initiatives

· Storyboarding effectively and creating executive level presentations that communicate the actionable plans to senior leaders

Provides leadership and supports the design and execution of the nursing operating model cascade to corporate, division, and facility clinical leadership, including planning, coordinating, &/or facilitating key forums

Supports the development and execution of all aspects of annual strategic planning with corporate & division leadership, including:

· Conducting and synthesizing analyses on key industry trends (national and market-levels) to generate strategic insights and business intelligence

· Planning, organizing, and/or facilitating medium-to-large strategy and design sessions to plan strategic initiatives and capture/synthesize findings and recommendations

· Developing key materials to be used within strategy and design sessions, including presentations, data sets, and reports

Supports the coordination and development of all Executive Deliverables for Clinical Services Group including Governance meetings, Business plans and various other leadership presentations

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

· College Degree and 7-10 years healthcare experience required; Hospital operations experience preferred

· 3-5 years of experience in Strategy/Consulting/ Operations required

· Medium-to-large scale project coordination experience is required

    · Expert understanding of PowerPoint
