Are you a hands-on CNC machining leader who thrives on improving processes, developing teams, and driving operational excellence? We’re looking for a Machine Shop Manager to lead our machining operations in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.

This is more than a management role — we’re looking for a strong technical leader who enjoys being on the production floor, solving problems in real time, improving efficiency, and helping teams succeed. If you have deep CNC machining knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As the Machine Shop Manager, you will oversee daily machine shop operations while leading machinists, machine operators, and support personnel to achieve production, quality, and delivery goals.

  • Lead daily CNC machining operations accross mill, lathes and secondary processes
  • Provide hands-on technical support for set up, tooling, troubleshooting and machining challenges
  • Drive on-time delivery, throughput, efficiency and scrap reduction initiatives
  • Optimize machine utilization, labor allocation and workflow performance
  • Support CNC programming improvements and cycle time optimization
  • Lead and develop machinists and operators through coaching, accountability and collaboration
  • Analyze production and quality data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Implement Lean and continuous improvment initiatives
  • Maintain high standards for workplace safety, quality, and operational discipline
  • Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Safety, and Leadership teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Direct hands-on CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with HAAS CNC mills and lathes, including UMC and VF series equipment
  • CNC programming knowledge and G-Code proficiency
  • Experience troubleshooting machining, tooling, setup, and process issues
  • Prior leadership or management experience within a machine shop or CNC manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling selection, tolerancing, and machining principles
  • Proven ability to improve operational performance, efficiency, and workflow
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Physical Environment

  • Standing for long periods of time during shift
  • Hands-on interaction with machinery and production equipment
  • Ability to lift up to approximately 49lbs
  • Working in varying tempatures and noise levels
