CNC Programmer

Location: Hobart, WI

EMT International is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to support our machine shop operations by programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machining processes for precision components used in digital printing and finishing equipment. This role works closely with machinists, engineering, and production teams to improve efficiency, maintain quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Program CNC mills and lathes using G & M code and/or CAM software
  • Develop and optimize machining processes for quality and efficiency
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
  • Troubleshoot programs, tooling, and machining issues
  • Support machinists with setups and process improvements
  • Edit programs directly at the machine when needed
  • Create setup sheets and tooling lists

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • 3+ years of CNC programming experience preferred
  • Experience programming and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes
  • Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment
  • CAM programming experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Haas, Kitamura, Doosan, and/or Trak machines is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
