Machine Shop Apprentice 
Perfect for CNC & Machining Students!
CA Lawton in De Pere, WI is looking for motivated students and recent graduates to join our team as a Machine Shop Apprentice!
Are you currently enrolled in a CNC Technology, Precision Machining, or Manufacturing program? Looking for a career where you can apply what you're learning in the classroom while gaining real-world experience?
This is your opportunity to work alongside experienced machinists, receive hands-on training, and build a long-term career in advanced manufacturing.
Pay & Schedule
Starting Pay: $21.56–$22.46 per hour
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM- 4:00 PM.
  • Overtime built into your workday when available
  • Friday overtime as needed
  • Enjoy a 3-day weekend most weeks!
What You'll Do
As a Machine Shop Apprentice, you'll learn and assist with:
  • Operating CNC and manual mills and lathes with guidance from experienced machinists
  • Reading blueprints, work instructions, and part drawings
  • Measuring parts using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers
  • Producing quality machined components while learning industry best practices
  • Meeting production and quality expectations on standard jobs
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Participating in continuous improvement and company team activities
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are eager to learn, not necessarily experts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a CNC Technology, Precision Machining, Manufacturing, or related technical program
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to read blueprints or a desire to develop that skill
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
Bonus if you have experience with:
  • Fanuc controls
  • Vertical Turret Lathes (VTLs)
  • CNC mills or lathes
  • Live tooling
  • Forklift operation (certification not required)
