Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is looking for a Spa Front Desk Attendant to join our team
Job description
Ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality and/or some experience in a resort spa/salon environment. This up-beat, friendly person will be the face of the spa to include greeting guests, scheduling spa service appointments, keeping operations running smoothly & promoting retail products. Must be able to handle a fast pace, multiple guess at a time, be adept or quick to learn scheduling software & point of sale registers. Must have good working knowledge basic computer skills (excel, pdf files, & word), great email & phone etiquette and confident with basic math skills (like addition/subtraction & percentages). Responsibilities also include back of house tasks like spa cleanliness & stocking, locker room/lounge clean up and start-of-day/end of-day closing check lists with other administrative duties as assigned.
Must be available for some closing (until 6:30 -7pm) and weekend shifts. We open 365 days per year and rotate holiday shifts as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Must have strong computer (Word/Excel/Adobe/scheduling software) & phone skills. There will be a onsite computer assessment for 2nd interviews.
  • Truly detail-oriented with a very professional, calm & soothing demeanor.
  • Abe to read and poignantly write emails. Able to speak professionally on the phone. Able to complete forms/reports as require and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other associates.
  • Achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Work without constant direct supervision and keep busy with various projects.
  • Needs to be able to handle stressful situations (i.e. multiple guests checking in/out at the same time)
  • 1-year experience at a resort spa is preferred, must be a service minded individual with a positive attitude that truly enjoys helping others.
  • Spa-Soft Experience a plus!
