Job Summary:
Under general direction, the Sr Manager LTL Sales Enablement is responsible for managing a team of LTL sales enablement personnel and directing them in their day-to-day responsibilities. Additionally, developing strategies alongside existing sales personnel to unlock overall company LTL portfolio growth. The incumbent helps their team define the opportunity to sell J.B. Hunt LTL services, while aligning internal teams on executing the strategy. Responsibilities include developing and growing employees, enhancing their knowledge of all LTL process flows, while maintaining a working knowledge of J.B. Hunt internal systems. This role will promote and foster a customer-centric culture by influencing a team, as well as external and internal clients.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads talent identification, development, performance, and overall management efforts for a LTL Mavens sales team.
  • Manages performance of personnel by monitoring key performance indicators that ensure LTL sales objectives are met.
  • Promotes customer success by ensuring that an excellent customer experience is provided and personnel are proactively identifying customer inefficiencies to increase stakeholder satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Assists direct reports in coordinating with internal teams and the customer to implement the customer's solution and maximize LTL sales volume potential for products and services.
  • Serves as coordinator for all LTL Carrier Engagement in our Lowell, AR main campus in support of field personnel namely - VP, LTL & Director of LTL Pricing.
  • Provides day to day support for employee(s) and customers often by working with leadership to handle internal and external issues that have escalated beyond the scope of the incumbent's direct report(s).
  • Collaborates and influences internally to optimize business processes- receivables, payables, sales, pricing, and operations.
  • Fosters inclusive team environment and promote inclusivity with all customer interactions.
  • Trains and supports sales personnel on qualifying customer presentations/QBRs.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school/GED.
  • WITH 3-4 years of Customer Experience/Account Management or Transportation/Logistics experience AND/OR 2-3 years Sales experience.
  • AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences.
  • Experience working through change management.
  • Experience excelling in high volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Relevant experience working with LTL.
  • Ability to work in a competitive environment.
  • Demonstrated sales generation results.
  • Holding people accountable/difficult conversations.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a successful team.
  • Ability to create/maintain a customer-centric environment.
  • Ability to influence and motivate beyond the organizational level.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Transportation Logistics.
  • With 3+ years relevant LTL Experience, Or 5+ years Transportation /Logistics Sales experience.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time +/-

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
