Job description

Summary
The Freight Processing associate delivers results through the lifecycle of merchandise in our stores. This associate receives freight, transfers, and maintains back stock on all merchandise. This position works independently and as a team to support stocking and replenishing the sales floor in a visually appealing manner.
Responsibilities
  • Receive new merchandise
  • Process new merchandise
  • Prepare transfers and return to vendor merchandise for transport
  • Prepare and process mis-mates
  • Record and send out damage goods
  • Able to handle a pallet jack to unload a truck and place in a designated staging area
  • Keep work area clean and safe from hazards
  • Clean and repair minor damage to merchandise and return to the sales floor
  • Make sure all fire lanes or exits remain clear according to safety guidelines
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Assist team members and help in other areas as directed by supervisor or management.
