Mental Health Therapist - Bilingual Associate
Full-Time or Part-Time

Anchor Within Counseling is an outpatient group practice looking for associate therapists to join our radical & relational team. We offer racially-specific and culturally-informed services to everyone, and prioritize care to the Black and Brown community. We are currently hiring for part-time and full-time bilingual therapists. These therapists can be pre-licensed (CSWA, LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate) or state qualified mental health professionals (QMHP) who would like to collaborate with us as we build the mental and behavioral well-being of our clients.
Our therapists care about individual and community growth. They support client health and wellness in their work and are passionate to (Responsibilities):
  • Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, narrative, emotion focused therapy, internal family systems, or the like.
  • Assess clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Complete risk assessments and provide crisis intervention support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in the behavioral health field.

This work is profound, requiring robust foundations (Requirements):
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid Oregon license/certificate to deliver mental health care.
Many of our clients have experienced cultural trauma and want to connect with therapists who may understand their origin story (Culturally-Specific Skills Desired):
  • Knowledge and ability to serve Black/African, Latino/Hispanic, and/or Native/Indigenous populations from a racial trauma lens.
  • Willingness to serve clients who ascribe to religious/spiritual beliefs as protective factors.

Compensation: Base Salary Plus Commission
