Mission

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company located on Montreal’s South Shore, is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to oversee shipping, transportation, and inventory management activities.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Management team, the successful candidate will supervise a unionized team and play a key role in optimizing logistics operations. The position will also contribute to continuous improvement and operational transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and prioritize logistics activities in collaboration with planning and operations teams.
• Organize and optimize shipments, transportation, loading, and customs documentation.
• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of unionized employees.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and cycle counting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor carrier performance to optimize costs, quality, and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with customs requirements and maintain C-TPAT certification.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and logistics transformation projects.

Your profile

Candidate Profile
• College diploma (DEC) in Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience managing employees in a unionized environment.
• Good knowledge of transportation, customs requirements, Incoterms, and USMCA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and collaborate effectively across departments.
