Fonctions du poste :

  • Agir à titre de personne-ressource principale auprès des clients attitrés, comprendre leurs besoins en transport et proposer des solutions logistiques adaptées.
  • Planifier les services de transport dédiés, les itinéraires, la saisie des chargements et assurer leur suivi.
  • Clôturer les dossiers en s’assurant de l’exactitude des informations dans le système de gestion du transport (TMS) une fois la livraison complétée.
  • Communiquer avec les transporteurs, négocier les tarifs, assurer la disponibilité des ressources et surveiller la performance pour répondre aux attentes de la clientèle.
  • Gérer les retards d’expédition, traiter les incidents de service et appliquer des mesures correctives (ex. : transbordement) pour maintenir un haut niveau de satisfaction client.
  • Connaissance des processus d’assignation des chargements via Loadlink et d'autres outils technologiques.
  • Contribuer à l’amélioration continue en identifiant les possibilités d’optimisation, d’amélioration du service et de réduction des coûts.
  • Maintenir et développer les relations avec les clients, en favorisant la croissance de l’entreprise et le renforcement des partenariats.

  • Capacité à suivre l’évolution des projets et à les mettre à jour efficacement.

Integrated Freight Networks / Retail Logistics is seeking a qualified, customer-focused Senior Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the transportation and logistics industry, including experience in dispatching orders and managing day-to-day shipment coordination. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring their logistics needs are met with efficiency and care. Expertise in truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and intermodal services will be considered a significant asset.

Job Functions:

  • Serve as the main liaison for assigned clients, understanding their transportation needs and providing proactive logistics solutions within the organization and to outside partners
  • Organize dedicated transport runs, routing, entering loads, and tracing
  • Closing out files, ensuring all information is accurate in our shipping management software once delivered
  • Communicate with carriers, negotiate rates, secure capacity, and monitor performance to meet customer service requirements.
  • Troubleshot shipment delays, resolve service issues, and implement corrective actions such as cross-docking to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of load booking with appropriate carriers and partners using Loadlink and other technology-based platforms.
  • Help with continuous improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve service quality, and reduce costs for clients.
  • Nurture customer relationships at all levels, helping with continuous growth opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships
