Logistics Account Executive:About the Role

We’re seeking experienced and ambitious Inside Sales Reps - Logistics Account Executives who're commission driven and ready to build a Book of Business here at Freight Wizards - Chicago.

As a Logistics Account Executive, you’ll be the single point of contact between Customers and and Carriers that you're expected to acquire and manage a Book of Business for each customer’s transportation needs 24/7/365. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, not afraid to pick up the phone, can handle working in a high volume transactional business-to-business sales position because your problem-solver and have a hunger for financial freedom then we want you to join our team.

About the Position

Position: Logistics Account Executive

Location: On-site – Chicago

Status: Full-Time

Base Salary: TBD + Unmatched & Uncapped commission at 25% & 35%

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Understand customer needs and identify business opportunities.

  • Proactively make 75 daily calls to find, close, and establish growing relationships with customers to build your book of business from the ground up.
  • Negotiate with shippers and carriers to manage daily shipments to ensure pickup and delivery is on time, 24/7/365.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of Customer Sales experience.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Be on time, 7:00 AM
  • Be high energy and have a positive attitude.
  • Have a strong work ethic, stronger than anyone you know.
  • Be Coachable.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • A college degree is preferred but not necessary to be a successful sales representative.
  • The determination to build your book of business by being harder working and more disciplined than anyone you know.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to be agile and handle conflict professionally.
  • Logistics Sales experience is preferred but optional to be a successful sales representative.
  • An obsession for success, order, and great customer service.
