Job description

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is needed. No first-time travelers will be considered. Two years of experience is required. All skills and certifications required. Experience must include circulating. This is a very high-risk unit caring for all pregnancy diagnoses. The responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean sections. Candidates should be proficient with external fetal monitoring and recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Other duties include administering medications such as antihypertensives and magnesium sulfate therapy. Candidates must have experience providing sterile vaginal exams. References required covering one year within the last three years. All staff are expected to float between facilities within the state. Refusal to float may result in termination. All providers are expected to comply with communication device requirements provided by the client when necessary. Modules may be required pre-start and annually. Completion time and requirements are self-reported.
