Maui Brewing Company Kaʻanapali is seeking an experienced Restaurant Bar Manager to lead our bar operations while helping deliver exceptional hospitality and unforgettable guest experiences.

Position Highlights

Location: Maui Brewing Co. Kaʻanapali

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience (DOE)

Key ResponsibilitiesRestaurant Leadership
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop hourly team members while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and hospitality excellence.
  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, safety, and operational standards throughout guest-facing areas.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while creating positive outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Executive Kitchen leadership to ensure seamless communication and service execution.
  • Monitor labor costs, productivity, and operational performance to achieve financial and service goals.
Bar Operations
  • Lead all daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional beverage quality, service execution, and guest engagement.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Maui Brewing Co. beers, spirits, cocktails, wine, and current beverage trends.
  • Manage bar inventory, ordering, receiving, and product rotation while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Monitor beverage costs, pour costs, and inventory variances while implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure consistent recipe execution, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Schedule, coach, and develop bartenders and bar staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Enforce all alcohol compliance standards, including responsible alcohol service and ID verification procedures.
  • Collaborate with company leadership on seasonal cocktail menus, promotions, and new beverage offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and proper maintenance of all bar equipment and storage areas.
  • Drive bar revenue through elevated service, team development, and strategic operational initiatives.
