Seasonal Expo / Food Runner – Spago Maui

As an Expo/Food Runner, you will act as a key link between culinary and service teams—organizing, expediting, and accurately delivering dishes in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and takes pride in presentation, timing, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately run and deliver food from the kitchen to guest tables with efficiency and care
  • Act as an expeditor by coordinating ticket timing and ensuring order accuracy after dishes leave the kitchen
  • Maintain clear communication between chefs and service staff regarding modifications, pacing, and special requests
  • Ensure all plates meet Spago presentation and quality standards prior to delivery
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of expo and service areas
  • Support servers and kitchen team members to ensure smooth, coordinated service
  • Anticipate guest and team needs in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
