General Purpose of Job
The Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator supports the effective operation, administration, and continuous improvement of SECO Energy's Learning Management System (PowerUp Academy). This position works closely with the LMS Administrator to assist with day-to-day system coordination, content management, user support, and training delivery. The LMS Coordinator serves as a key resource for employees and leaders, ensuring training materials are properly organized, accessible, and aligned with organizational learning goals.
This role helps maintain data accuracy, supports system configuration needs, troubleshoots user issues, and contributes to a positive learning experience across the Cooperative.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Competencies
The following includes the minimum job requirements and essential duties for this position. Requirements
Education
  • Minimum: Two (2) year associate degree in business, education, HR, information technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Experience
  • Minimum: Two (2) years of experience in training, HR systems, LMS support, administrative support, or related function.
  • Experience within an electric utility or related industry is preferred.

Other Requirements
  • Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
  • Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.

Driving Requirements: Valid Florida Driver's License.

  • Manage the end-to-end implementation of the learning management system.

  • Perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting to maintain system performance.

Content Development and Management:
  • Upload, organize, and manage training materials, courses, and assessments in the LMS.
  • Develop engaging e-learning content in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Ensure all training materials are aligned with organizational goals and compliance standards.

User Support and Training:
  • Provide technical support to staff, faculty, and users of the LMS.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user guides to enhance LMS utilization.
  • Address and resolve LMS-related issues promptly and efficiently.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Generate and analyze reports on training progress, completion rates, and LMS usage.
