Job description

The Live Podcast Operations Producer is responsible for the technical and operational execution of the PBD Podcast and other Valuetainment live productions. This role will operate the live production laptop, oversee the stream, organize and execute digital assets, assist with guest-booking logistics, and coordinate closely with the show’s producers, control room, guests, and on-air talent to ensure each broadcast runs smoothly.
The position is initially focused on technical execution, live-show operations, and guest coordination rather than research and editorial preparation. As the Live Podcast Operations Producer builds familiarity with the show, talent, production systems, and editorial standards, there may be an opportunity to take on supplementary producing responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities

  • Operate the live production laptop during recordings and live broadcasts.
  • Oversee and monitor the live stream across YouTube and other applicable distribution platforms.
  • Prepare, organize, test, and execute videos, graphics, articles, websites, images, and other digital assets used during the show.
  • Follow the show rundown and execute production cues accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with producers, directors, control-room staff, guests, and talent throughout each production.
  • Monitor stream health, playback, audio and video synchronization, and other technical elements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues quickly without disrupting the live broadcast.
  • Participate in pre-show meetings, technical checks, rehearsals, and production preparation.
  • Confirm that all show assets are properly labeled, organized, loaded, and tested before going live.
  • Maintain organized digital folders, playback systems, templates, and show-related technical resources.
  • Document technical issues and recommend improvements to live-production workflows.
  • Assist with post-show file organization, production notes, and operational recaps.
  • Support additional Valuetainment podcasts, interviews, live events, and studio productions as needed.
  • Work with the Director of Studio Operations to develop repeatable systems that improve reliability, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Gradually provide supplementary producing support after demonstrating strong editorial judgment and command of the show.

Guest-Booking and Coordination Responsibilities

  • Support the scheduling and logistical coordination of podcast guests in partnership with the show’s producers and booking team.
  • Communicate with guests, agents, publicists, and representatives regarding availability, scheduling, arrival instructions, and production requirements.
  • Coordinate guest travel, transportation, hotel accommodations, itineraries, and onsite arrival details when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate guest calendars, contact information, booking statuses, and production notes.
  • Confirm interview dates, arrival times, topics, biographies, headshots, promotional assets, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate remote-interview links, technical tests, and connection checks for virtual guests.
  • Ensure guests receive parking information, studio access instructions, release forms, and other necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate with reception, security, green-room staff, producers, and talent teams to ensure a professional guest experience.
  • Monitor last-minute schedule changes and communicate updates promptly to all relevant departments.
  • Assist with guest hospitality, green-room readiness, and movement through the studio on production days.
  • Maintain discretion when handling confidential guest information, schedules, and communications.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in live production, broadcast operations, podcast production, streaming, digital media, guest coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience operating technical systems during live or recorded productions.
  • Strong computer proficiency and the ability to learn new production software quickly.
  • Familiarity with YouTube Live, streaming platforms, video playback, graphics, and digital-media workflows.
  • Experience communicating professionally with guests, representatives, publicists, and external partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to receive and execute direction quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced live-production environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and logistical issues calmly and efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of timing, pacing, accuracy, preparation, and guest service.
  • Interest in business, entrepreneurship, politics, current events, culture, and digital media.
  • Ability to work onsite in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or extended hours based on the production schedule.
  • Must be enthusiastic and maintain a solutions-oriented mindset.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Has experience working in live television, podcasting, streaming, digital media, guest relations, or control-room production.
  • Technically proficient and comfortable operating computers, streaming platforms, video playback systems, and digital production tools.
  • Remains calm, focused, and solutions-oriented during high-pressure live broadcasts.
  • Anticipates production and guest needs and solves problems before they impact the show.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with producers, directors, technicians, guests, representatives, and on-air talent.
  • Is highly organized and able to manage multiple digital assets, production cues, schedules, and logistical details simultaneously.
  • Understands the importance of accuracy, timing, discretion, and editorial judgment during live programming.
  • Is willing to learn Valuetainment’s production style, systems, audience, and brand identity.

Salary + Annual Performance-Based Bonus and Comprehensive Benefits Package.
Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills.
