Job Summary:
The Aero Value Stream Director leads the global Aero Value Stream, serving as a Lean advocate and champion for the organization. This leader is responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement by developing and advancing outage standards, productivity initiatives, and best practices across all regions. The role is responsible for the global deployment of the Live Outage application for Aero Field Services.
Partnering closely with stakeholders across Region Operations, Tooling, P&L, and Engineering, the Director ensures rigor in execution and leads the implementation of breakthrough improvements. Through the application of Lean principles and tools, this role drives the global standardization of processes, tools, and field execution, while balancing strategic direction with tactical delivery to maximize adoption, reduce outage variation, lower cost, and improve cycle time. The role is responsible for the global deployment of the Live Outage application for Aero One Field Services.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of outage standards for LM6000, LM2500, and LMS100 technologies.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of Live Outage content to the field, serving as the primary ambassador for Live Outage with both field teams and external customers.
  • Drive adoption of standard work, planning, and reconciliation best practices through Bowlers, MORs, and other operating mechanisms.
  • Serve as the equipment-specific subject matter expert for the organization and provide deep technology expertise across supported platforms.
  • Lead the global Kaizen calendar for the technology, with a strong focus on Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Own critical Bowler metrics for the covered technologies, reviewing performance through MORs and with senior OFS and Gas Power leadership, driving SQDC rigor.
  • Drive accountability across supporting organizations to deliver improvements, ensuring disciplined follow-through, effective implementation, and measurable value stream results.
  • Travel as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field with minimum five years of Field Engineer or Project management experience; additional years of experience in power generation can be substituted for degree
  • Former Field Engineering, Outage Management, Contractual Service Leader or Service Manager experience
  • 11+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 6+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types
  • 5+ years of specialized/industry experience
  • Strong experience in power generation and field services experience in Heavy Duty Gas and/or Steam Turbine maintenance
  • English proficiency required
Desired Characteristics:
  • Master's degree preferred
  • A deep understanding and experience with gas turbine outage execution
  • Experience with lean methodologies
  • Experience with outage productivity tooling and developing cost remediation projects & programs
  • Excellent communication and management skills and strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees

  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Very results-oriented
  • Work well both independently and in a team environment, including in remote work settings
  • Ability to travel, including internationally, 30-40% of the time
