Job description

Established Marine Towing and Salvage company is seeking a deckhand to assist with towing, launch, salvage, maintenance and other tasks. To be considered for this job you must have a willingness to learn from others, make appropriate decisions in challenging situations and focus on getting things done. You must live in or near Fort Lauderdale and currently have a USCG Captain’s license or the desire, sea time and other qualifications to become a Captain in the near future. We promote from within, deckhands become patrol captains so please do not apply unless this is your ultimate goal. Current STCW certification and TWIC card are a plus. current driver’s license, and valid passport are a must. The Ideal candidate will also have a Scuba certification. A candidate with good vessel maintenance skills, previous experience at sea, and experience with cranes and heavy loads is preferred.
