Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tow Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing and recovering vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. The Tow Truck Operator plays a vital role in maintaining safety standards while delivering prompt and professional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tow trucks, including rollback, flatbed and other specialized equipment, to recover and transport vehicles.
  • Assess vehicle conditions and determine the best method for towing or recovery.
  • Load, unload, and secure vehicles safely using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their concerns professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations.
  • Manage conflict situations effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Experience

  • A valid driver’s license is required, must be 25 years old, live in Amarillo, pass a criminal background check, clean driving record and pass pre employment with quarterly random drug screens.
  • Experience operating tow trucks, rollbacks, flatbeds, forklifts, or similar heavy-duty equipment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations professionally.
