About the Role:
Rapid Towing is hiring a Part-Time Tow Truck Driver for nights and weekends (on-call). This is a flexible, supplemental income opportunity for someone reliable and local. No towing experience required — we provide paid training to qualified individuals. Applicants must live in the Rapid City area.


Job Title:
Tow Truck Driver – Part-Time, Nights & Weekends | Local Only

Location:
Rapid City, SD (Local Candidates Only)

Compensation:
$10,000 – $20,000/year (Commission-Based)
Includes bonuses, tips, and paid training


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to roadside and vehicle recovery calls
  • Operate a tow truck safely and professionally
  • Provide respectful, efficient service in high-pressure situations
  • Complete paperwork accurately and on time

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License (Required)
  • Must live in the Rapid City area
  • Overnight and weekend availability (on-call)
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Cannot be under current court supervision or police investigation (per city contract)
  • Able to lift and secure vehicles
  • Reasonably clean driving record

Schedule:

  • Part-Time | On-Call
  • Nights, Overnight, Rotating Weekends
