Location: Farmington, CT (with seasonal relocation to Boca Raton, FL)
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 8 hours/day
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
Start Date: End of January 2027
Travel: Required
Compensation: $28–30/hour

Position Overview
A family in Farmington, CT is seeking an experienced, long-term live-in nanny to care for their newborn. This is a full-time position, five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. The family splits the year between their Farmington, CT and Boca Raton, FL residences; the nanny will relocate seasonally with the family and accompany them on trips and vacations. In addition to primary newborn care, the nanny will help with light household tasks when the baby is sleeping or does not require active care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, nurturing full-time care for a newborn
  • Establish and support healthy feeding, sleep, and daily routines
  • Handle all infant-related tasks, including feedings, bottle prep and sterilizing, diapering, bathing, and infant laundry
  • Relocate seasonally with the family between Connecticut and Florida and accompany them on trips and vacations
  • Assist with light household tasks (tidying, laundry, organization) when not actively caring for the baby
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the child

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a nanny, with strong newborn/infant care experience
  • Comfortable with a live-in arrangement and seasonal relocation between CT and FL
  • Willing and able to travel with the family
  • Reliable, professional, and able to make a long-term commitment
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
