Role description: The Regional Chef - Texas Live!/Corporate Catering  is responsible for overseeing and enhancing culinary operations at Texas Live! In Arlington, TX and across multiple locations that have a high-volume catering and private event business. The role involves developing and standardizing menus, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, maintaining consistent culinary standards, and fostering the growth of culinary team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with Assistant Vice President of Culinary on recipe research, development, and execution to include LTO offerings and new menu implementation.
  • Standardize recipes and food presentation across all locations in the vertical.
  • Record, maintain, and update recipe database.
  • Support large private events and other caterings.
  • Create and manage BOH systems for locations in vertical.
  • Control food COGS within budget.
  • Control BOH labor costs within budget.
  • Train and support culinary teams within vertical, including during new openings.
  • Train BOH team on sanitation and safety standards, and ensure they are enforced.
  • Travel regularly to vertical locations to train and mentor BOH team and audit kitchen operations, hygiene, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Chef or Senior Culinary Manager, preferably in a multi-location or regional capacity.
  • Background or experience in high volume catering.
  • Exceptional culinary skills, with a strong portfolio of creative and diverse dishes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to travel within the vertical as required.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance competing priorities.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
