As a Solution Architect III, Duck Creek on Hagerty's DIT (Digital Innovation Technology) Architecture team you will need deep Duck Creek platformexpertiseto join us in creating software solutions that are well designed and take a long-term strategic view.In addition to owningtheDuck Creek solution architectureacross all product lines including Policy, Billing, Claims, Agency/Distribution, and DMS.Thisperson will elevate theSolution Architectureteam's existing Duck Creek knowledge, accelerating depth and confidence in Duck Creek architecture concepts, patterns, and practicesacross the full suite.

The ideal candidate is as energized by developing other architects as they are by solving hard technical problems themselves.By considering the impact of design choices today against an understanding of a software product's strategic direction, our solution architectsseekto limit future constraints and provide the correct amount of flexibility while delivering business value withtimelyreleases.   • Acting as a subject matter expertacrosscomplex domains within our business, including deep ownership across Duck Creek modules such as Policy, Billing, Claims,andAgency/DistributionManagementSystem (DMS);candidates are encouraged to share which modules they know best
  • Building shared understanding around the encapsulation and distinct purposes of your domains (Duck Creek product lines and their configuration boundaries)
  • Decomposing new business concepts and capabilities into bounded contexts (Duck Creek product configurations, rule sets, and integration touchpoints)

Design and own inter-context communication specifications that serve the needs of the business now and in the future by-
