Why This Role Matters
We're looking for a high-performing Sales Chat Representative who will serve as a critical conversion engine for School Outfitters. Success means more than answering an inquiry or creating a quote; it means owning the opportunity through the buying process and driving it toward an order.

  • Ask for the order, create appropriate urgency, and identify opportunities to increase order value through additional School Outfitters solutions.
Consultative Selling amp; Opportunity Development
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, budgets, timelines, decision-making processes, and purchasing objectives.
  • Recommend solutions that align with customer requirements and proactively address barriers to purchase.

Customer Retention amp; Relationship Growth
  • Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business and long-term loyalty.
  • Expand existing relationships and identify future projects and opportunities.

  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of sales opportunities and convert customer interest into revenue.
  • Strong consultative selling, discovery, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and retain customer relationships.
  • Strong sense of urgency, personal accountability, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance, adjust sales activity, and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
