What We Are Looking For:
  • Do you currently or have you in the past been an ASE certified technician?
  • Do you like to perform vehicle inspections to evaluate customer concerns, vehicles, and repair processes?
  • Do you like to work on all technical aspects of a case, assisting in compiling and checking data and information?
  • Do you like working to specific objectives?

If your answer is yes to the questions listed above, MSX might have the right opportunity for you! We are expanding one of our signature programs and are looking for automotive technical experts who can assist legal counsel in warranty litigation matters concerning automotive technical issues, liaise with legal counsel to coordinate and participate in lemon law seminars and perform vehicle inspections to evaluate customer concerns, vehicles, and repair processes. Your day to day will include local travel to designated dealerships, reviewing technical cases and reporting to legal counsel the findings as well as supporting legal case compilation.
The Lead Technical Litigation Support Specialist tasks are:
  • Participate in discussions, meetings and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Evaluate cases on technical merit.
  • Perform vehicle inspections to evaluate customer concerns, vehicles, and repair processes
  • Report out on all evaluations and technical inspections

What We Have to Offer:
  • Full-time position with benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

  • Hybrid work environment: 1-2 days field work with regional travel and 3 days work from home per week on average with little to no weekend work.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years automotive experience required; BA degree or current ASE certification is preferred but previously certified individuals will be considered.
  • Highly motivated, critical thinker, adaptive, and autonomous with the ability to deliver measurable results.
  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
  • Ability to travel locally/regionally to dealerships.
  • Ability to analyze and document vehicle case updates using Microsoft Excel tools.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and create custom reports using provided templates.
  • Ability to effectively use MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a progressive workload in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85k to $110k based on current experience.
