Description:JOB ANNOUNCEMENTLitigation Support Specialist
A reputable, fast-growing employee rights law firm practicing employment law is seeking to fill a full-time Litigation Support Specialist position in its Pasadena office as detailed below.


Title: Litigation Support Specialist (on-site, not remote)


Location: Pasadena, CA


Hours: Full-Time / 40 hours per week (Mo-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm)


Starting Pay: $25.00 - $35.00+ per hour (depending on experience)


Experience: Law office experience is a must.


Benefits: We provide benefits to full-time employees after a 90-day probational period including

health, dental and vision benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, 401K among other perks.


Responsibilities:

  • Providing all necessary support to one or more attorneys;
  • Preparing/drafting and filing legal documents such as motions, briefs, discovery, etc.;
  • Maintaining relevant case information;
  • Maintain and update inventories of contact details;
  • Handling client communications and working with clients as needed;
  • Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, colleagues and partners;
  • Facilitate the meeting of deadlines;
  • Managing records, projects and calendars to make sure everything functions smoothly;
  • Indexing and updating pleadings and discovery files;
  • Transcribing and/or proofreading legal documents;
  • Collecting and delivering documents;
  • Making travel arrangements for one or more Lawyers;
  • Conducting research and investigating facts regarding cases;
  • Assisting other staff as requested, and other duties as necessary.

General Skills Required: Excellent verbal communication skills; excellent telephone etiquette, great

note-taking skills, professional and upbeat attitude, attention to detail, honesty, good written

communication, dependable, ability to follow instructions, computer savvy, great typing skills, multitasking,

ability to prioritize, excellent organizational skills.


Computer Skills Preferred: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email / Calendar, Adobe, Apple O/S.


Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken & written); Spanish speaking is a plus.
