Job description

Position Title: Civil Litigation Attorney
This position offers an opportunity for a Civil Litigation Attorney to engage in meaningful legal work across various cases, including habitability and sexual assault. The role demands a commitment to excellence and collaboration within a supportive team environment. Attorneys at all experience levels are encouraged to apply, as the firm values diverse backgrounds and perspectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a solid work ethic while being receptive to feedback. Salary Range: $110,000 - $175,000 / Year DOE
Responsibilities:
  • Handle habitability and sexual assault cases as well as general civil litigation
  • Support a senior partner with case management and legal strategies
  • Conduct discovery, draft motions, and prepare for court appearances
  • Participate in depositions and trial work as required
  • Maintain a monthly billable hour target of 130 hours
  • Work collaboratively with legal assistants, paralegals, and administrative staff

Requirements:
  • 1-5+ years of experience in civil litigation
  • Must be barred in California
  • Trial experience is preferred
