Compensation, Benefits & ERISA Litigation Associate / Senior Associate / AmLaw 50 OpportunityA leading international law firm is seeking an Associate, Senior Associate, or Counsel to join its highly regarded Employee Benefits practice in Atlanta.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in focusing on sophisticated health & welfare benefits matters, ERISA compliance, benefits counseling, and benefits-related litigation for a diverse client base that includes public companies, private companies, healthcare organizations, financial institutions, and nonprofit organizations.
The Roleโข Health & welfare benefits counseling
โข ERISA compliance and regulatory guidance
โข HIPAA compliance and privacy matters
โข COBRA administration and compliance
โข Mental Health Parity & Addiction Equity Act compliance
โข Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance and counseling
โข No Surprises Act compliance and implementation
โข Benefits-related litigation and dispute resolution
โข Employee benefits due diligence in corporate transactions
โข Direct client interaction and substantive responsibility
Ideal Backgroundโข Approximately 3+ years of employee benefits experience
โข Significant experience involving health & welfare benefit plans required
โข Strong working knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, Mental Health Parity & Addiction Equity Act, and the No Surprises Act
โข Experience advising employers, plan sponsors, fiduciaries, and administrators preferred
โข Experience with benefits-related litigation, investigations, audits, or regulatory compliance matters is a plus
โข Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
โข Outstanding academic credentials
โข Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
โข Georgia bar admission preferred or ability to become admitted in Georgia

CompensationExpected compensation ranges from approximately $240,000 โ $425,000+ depending on level (Associate, Senior Associate, or Counsel), experience, and overall qualifications.
