Associate Attorney – Personal Injury
The Connection House is currently seeking an ambitious, motivated Associate Attorney with a future partnership opportunity for our latest client with multiple professionals already placed on the team. This is a well-established personal injury law firm located in the Kennesaw / Acworth, GA area. The firm is supported by a team of two paralegals, one legal assistant and one attorney who also handles business disputes, contracts and construction litigation. The firm's chief attorney has successfully secured over $20 million in client recoveries over the last 11 years showcasing the firm’s proven track record of success.
The client is seeking an Associate Attorney who is fearless, an excellent writer who can mesh well with the client. The ideal candidate wants real responsibility, flexibility, and a long-term path with the firm. The client is open to a former prosecutor or public defender.
Although this position is remote three days a week, we do require you to live within approximately 40 miles of the Kennesaw / Acworth, GA area.
Please note that our client employs a comprehensive interview process, including a scenario-based assessment such as a fact pattern, to thoroughly evaluate the experience required for this role. We encourage candidates who are committed and confident in their qualifications to apply
Insurance: $350.00 a month employer contribution toward the candidate’s insurance policy, provided separately from compensation.

Qualifications
· 1-2 years litigation experience
· Strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing, grammar and research
· Strong work ethic with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality.
· Being well-versed in The Civil Practice Act is a plus
· Must be well- versed in The Evidence Code
· Ability to work seamlessly with the client and contribute positively to the firm.
Responsibilities
· Acquire day to day running of all cases from inception to resolution under guidance of the founding attorney
· Acting as liaison between the firms and the clients
· Prepare and review all litigation documents
· Aid in preparation for court proceedings
· Attend all trials, hearings, depositions and mediations
· Use your judgment to know when to ask questions
· Identify and evaluate the firm’s needs
· Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow
