Job Overview:
Responsible for providing housekeeping services to provide a sparkling clean, hygienic and safe environment that is patient and family centered.
General Responsibilities:
  • Routinely cleans patient's rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients.
  • May clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other areas as assigned.
  • Responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility.
  • Monitors the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention.
  • Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment.
  • Must be able to work with cleaning supplies in a safe manner
  • Able to multi-task with safety practices.
  • Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School graduate or Equivalent preferred.
  • Prior housekeeping experience, preferred.
  • Basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover.
  • Works independently
  • Experienced
