Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering clean linen carts to the floor, picking up dirty linen, and ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient. Maintains all linen records for reporting and accountability.  Has a thorough knowledge of all processes on all shifts. 

Qualifications

 

REQUIRED

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education or (1) one year work experience. 
  • PREFERRED

  • Basic knowledge in use of computers and ability to learn appropriate software applications.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate computerized inventory system.
  • Ability to use hand-held scanner to issue and track inventory.
  • Able to react calmly under stressful conditions.
  • Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with clients and co-work complex problems.
  • Ability to work independently, using judgment and problem-solving skills as necessary to resolve customer service issues, order discrepancies, and as otherwise necessary in the performance of duties.
