NOVO's wide range of service programs offer a variety of options to provide a seamless, single source distribution system. NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.

NOVO Health Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Linen Distribution Technician to support daily linen operations at Robert Packer Hospital. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery, collection, and stocking of hospital linen to support patient care.

This is a hands-on, non-supervisory role focused on maintaining inventory levels, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring uninterrupted linen service throughout the facility.

Schedule & Work Hours
  • Part-Time Position: Approximately up to 30 hours per week
  • Primary Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Shift Type: Day Shift Only (No evenings or overnight hours)
  • Start Time: Typically 5:00 AM, with flexibility of approximately 1 hour depending on operational needs

Additional Expectations:

  • Occasional support for weekday or weekend call-offs (rare)
  • Ability to assist with coverage during planned employee vacations
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clean linen to designated hospital departments according to established PAR levels
  • Collect and transport soiled linen safely and in compliance with infection control standards
  • Stock linen carts, shelves, and storage areas
  • Monitor and maintain accurate linen inventory levels
  • Respond promptly to linen requests from hospital staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen room and supply areas
  • Follow all hospital safety, infection control, and NOVO operational policies
QualificationsRequired:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong reliability and attendance
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push/pull carts up to 250 pounds
Preferred:
  • Prior experience in hospital linen services, environmental services, warehouse, or logistics
  • Familiarity with inventory management or PAR level systems
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
Work Environment
  • Hospital setting supporting patient care operations
  • Active role requiring walking, lifting, and cart movement throughout the facility
  • Early morning shift environment with consistent weekday scheduling
