Linen Tech (Hourly) - NOVO Health Services

Location: On-site at healthcare facility
Position Type: Full-Time (Hourly)

About the Role:

NOVO Health Services is seeking a dependable, service-oriented Linen Tech to support on-site linen operations at a healthcare facility. This role is responsible for delivering clean linen, collecting soiled linen, stocking designated areas, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized linen distribution program that supports patient care and hospital operations.

What You'll Do:

Distribute clean linen to designated hospital departments and replenish inventory levels
Collect soiled linen and transport it to designated holding areas following safety procedures
Stock linen carts, closets, and supply areas according to established par levels
Monitor linen inventory and report shortages, overages, or misuse to leadership
Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, carts, and soiled holding areas
Follow infection prevention, OSHA, and facility safety guidelines at all times
Assist with daily inspections of linen areas to ensure compliance and service quality
Support accurate handling of linen to reduce loss and improve utilization
Respond promptly and professionally to department linen requests
Assist supervisors and team members with other distribution duties as needed
What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, linen distribution, or healthcare support preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Strong dependability, teamwork, and customer service skills
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow safety procedures and infection control standards
Physical Requirements:

Push/pull linen carts weighing up to 200-400 lbs.
Lift up to 30 lbs.
Stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent bending, reaching, and moving throughout the facility
