Position: Relief/Per Diem Job Coach
Location: West Roxbury amp; Norwood Locations
Shift: Varies. This posting is for Per Diem only.
Salary: $18.25-19.00/hr

As a member of our team, we are all here to support you as we provide creative opportunities and services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Lifeworks is hiring a Relief Job Coach to work with Individuals with ID/DD. We are a nonprofit human service agency that provides adults with developmental disabilities with the opportunity to live engaged and meaningful lives. We're searching for an enthusiastic individual who will bring their personality, an independent work ethic, and a strong belief in enhancing the lives of those we serve. *Candidates must have related or direct experience working with the community we serve.

Essential Duties:
  • Cover work sites and track amounts of work as necessary. Covers both on and off-site Life Enhancement activities.
  • Provides structure and teaching as needed.
  • Provides transportation for individuals to program and/or employment.
  • Provides information through means of log notes, data books, communication logs, or telephone, as needed.
  • Other duties and/or assignments to work/program locations based on the needs of the company.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
  • High School diploma/GED, related experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Map Certification is highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
