Location: Primarily remote with occasional travel required (U.S. Coast Guard support)


About the Opportunity

Heartland Consulting is seeking a SharePoint Technical and Data Management Support Specialist to join our team supporting the U.S. Coast Guard. This full-time role is critical for maintaining, optimizing, and managing SharePoint environments that support complex federal acquisition and shipbuilding programs.

The ideal candidate is a skilled SharePoint professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at data management, and can deliver high-quality solutions with quick turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance SharePoint workflows, dashboards, sites, and libraries to support document management, approval processes, and program metrics.
  • Organize, version-control, and manage program documentation including MSAM deliverables, memos, schedules, and other critical records.
  • Mine data from multiple sources, generate reports, graphs, and visualizations, and respond to urgent data calls (often within 4–24 hours).
  • Maintain financial trackers, lessons-learned repositories, configuration management databases, and performance metric tools.
  • Monitor site content for proper distribution markings, manage permissions, and forward documents as directed by the customer.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on infrastructure and web-based development experience in a SharePoint environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel, Word, and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience with performance metrics, data analysis, trending, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Active Secret clearance preferred (or ability to obtain one).
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a proactive problem-solver who is comfortable working independently and as part of a larger support team. Prior experience supporting DoD or U.S. Coast Guard programs is a strong plus.
