Job description

Overview
The Indirect Funding Specialist is responsible for creating an exceptional member and dealer experience by ensuring accurate and timely processing and funding of all indirect loan applications including auto motorcycle, recreational vehicle, and boat within established service level commitments. The Indirect Loan Processor will collaborate with dealers, members, and internal staff to collect documentation, verify that documents meet underwriting stipulations, audit loan packages for accuracy and complete balancing duties in the loan operating system.
Compensation:
Minimum $22.74
Maximum $34.12
Placement in the pay scale will be determined by experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
• Contact dealers and/or members within service level agreements to obtain documentation.
• Process Indirect loan applications within established guidelines, policies, procedures, and timelines.
• Provide exceptional experience to our dealer partners, members and staff in alignment with Harborstone's core values.
• Review each loan application to ensure all required information is documented.
• Consistently maintain Service Level Agreements for contacting Dealer Partners and processing of all Indirect Loans.
• Request and review required documentation to meet underwriting stipulations.
• Facilitate clearing of underwriting conditions by working with branch staff, dealers, vendors, and members.
• Research and resolve internal and external member issues promptly and professionally.
• Serve as a lending point of contact for dealers.
• Work as part of a hybrid team using multiple technologies and approaches.
Qualifications
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to explain programs, loan terms, features, policies and benefits to members and business partners.
• Strong relationship building and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
• Multi-lingual capabilities to include Spanish are a plus.
• Additional education and training preferred.
• Experience with Arc Os(i) or CUDL preferred.
Physical Considerations:
• Must be able to effectively read, write, and listen as well as communicate verbally, electronically and in written form with employees, members, board members, vendors, and the general public as required.
• May be asked to handle, move, and/or carry large boxes of supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• May require stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for limited periods of time.
• May require sitting and standing for long periods of time.
