Job Description
We are always searching for talented, dedicated individuals to add to our growing team. Currently, we are searching for a driven, detail-oriented person to fill a role on our Legal Recovery team. A qualified candidate will be expected to:
  • Understand/implement the Michigan court processes for collections in a timely and accurate manner
  • Determining the jurisdiction of debtors
  • Producing lawsuits
  • Assigning lawsuits to Process Servers and monitoring their activity
  • Obtaining judgements
  • Filing garnishments
  • Filing satisfaction of judgement
  • Monitor in a timely manner all files assigned to the various stages of the lawsuit process
  • Make/monitor payment arrangements with debtors
  • Understanding bankruptcy paperwork as it pertains to our collection methods
  • Ability to successfully and professionally communicate with team, attorneys, court clerks, debtors, ect.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Prior knowledge of bankruptcy processes a plus but not required
  • Previous legal assistant experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent navigation skills for the internet, in house collections software, Microsoft Office required
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
