Dispatch Customer Service Representative - Home Delivery (3PL)

The Dispatch Customer Service Representative supports daily home delivery operations by serving as the primary liaison between the client, delivery teams, and internal operations. Working onsite at the client's facility, this role assists drivers and dispatchers throughout the day, monitors delivery progress, and provides timely communication to the client regarding delivery status, exceptions, and resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily home delivery routes and provide operational support to drivers and field teams.
  • Communicate with drivers to resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer concerns.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client emails regarding delivery status, exceptions, and service updates.
  • Coordinate with the client's team to ensure delivery expectations and service levels are met.
  • Track deliveries and document route updates, delays, and completed stops.
  • Escalate operational issues as needed and work with management to identify timely solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communications, delivery exceptions, and operational reports.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with the client and internal teams while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and transportation or dispatch management systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, drivers, and operations teams.

PAY

$22-$24 per hour

Days off (Tuesday and Wednesday). The schedule consists of two days from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM and three days from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
