Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Physical Security Coordinator to support physical security technology, compliance, reporting, and administrative functions. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent college graduate or early-career professional seeking to gain hands-on experience in corporate security, compliance, data management, and security technology. In this role, you will work closely with Physical Security Technology, Corporate Security, Facilities, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure physical security records, inventories, and documentation remain accurate, organized, and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update physical security records, databases, inventories, and tracking systems.
  • Perform meticulous data entry, validation, and quality assurance reviews to guarantee data accuracy.
  • Support badge access reviews, compliance audits, and governance activities.
  • Generate comprehensive reports, metrics, and dashboards utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Assist with SharePoint site administration, document management, and procedural record-keeping.
  • Support project tracking, status reporting, and cross-functional action item management.
  • Oversee inventory management and asset tracking for physical security technologies and hardware.
  • Identify data discrepancies and proactively drive corrective action efforts.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives designed to enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of professional experience (including relevant internships in corporate security, compliance, technology, facilities, or business operations).
  • Technical Stack: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, or large data sets/reporting is a strong plus.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a process-driven approach to task execution.
  • Soft Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities independently; analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
