What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in in a Juris Doctorate program with an accredited institution.
  • Applicants should have a class ranking in the top half of their class; top one-third is preferred.
  • Students with prior classroom/experience with law journal and/or moot court or trial team are preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to read and understand complex legal documents.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Summer Legal Intern in our Executive Division, you'll be at the heart of our legal operations in Springfield, Missouri. You won't just be a bystander; you'll be an integral part of our legal team, working alongside four in-house attorneys on projects that matter. From regulatory and compliance issues to corporate governance, labor relations, document management review and processing, and contract negotiations, you'll gain hands-on experience in various legal fields.
