Job description

Location: Orange County, California

Work Arrangement: In Office

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 + benefits

Join Our Legal & Compliance Team

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Administrator to join our in-house Legal & Compliance Department and provide day-to-day support to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer.

Our Company operates nationally in the event security industry, providing security services for large-scale events, entertainment and venues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a legal, litigation, insurance, or compliance background who wants to work directly within a corporate legal department and gain broad exposure to real-world legal and business matters.

What You’ll Do

·        Provide day-to-day administrative and organizational support to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer.

·        Maintain and organize legal files, records, contracts, claims, and other legal information.

·        Assist with tracking legal matters, deadlines, meetings, and follow-up items.

·        Support the Legal Department with pending and threatened litigation and claims.

·        Gather documents and information requested by the Legal Department and outside counsel.

·        Maintain insurance policies, certificates, endorsements, and related records.

·        Assist with obtaining certificates of insurance and other insurance information for clients, vendors, venues, and business partners.

·        Communicate with insurance brokers, vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding insurance documentation.

·        Assist with compliance projects and other legal department initiatives.

·        Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

What We’re Looking For

·        2+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, legal administrator, litigation assistant, insurance professional, or similar role.

·        Fluent Spanish and English.

·        Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

·        Excellent communication and follow-through.

·        Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.

·        Professional judgment and the ability to handle confidential information.

Experience That Will Make You Stand Out

·        Litigation or claims experience.

·        Insurance industry or insurance administration experience.

·        Experience in an in-house legal department; bilingual.

·        Paralegal or legal education/background.

·        Experience in security, events, entertainment, hospitality, or a related industry preferred but not required.

Why This Role?

This is not simply an administrative position. You will work directly with the Company’s Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and have exposure to litigation, insurance, compliance, risk management, contracts, and the day-to-day operation of an in-house legal department.

If you are organized, proactive, bilingual, and looking for an opportunity to build your legal and compliance experience in a fast-paced business environment, we’d like to hear from you. Office is in Orange County and is being built-out (under construction) so role will start hybrid/remote and transition to full in office by end of year upon new office’s completion.
