Job description

We are seeking a driven candidate with 3+ years of experience in shopping center leasing who can work strategically and collaboratively with our Leasing team and tenants across our national portfolio. The ideal candidate will be proactive, willing to go the extra mile, and have a strong passion for sales and deal-making.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Lease available space within the Cafaro portfolio, managing leasing efforts for assigned properties.
  • Independently manage the leasing process from prospecting to lease execution.
  • Proactively canvass markets to attract new national, regional, and local retailers and restaurants.
  • Prepares analysis for new developments, redevelopment and tenant specific opportunities. Guides and oversee preparation of project proposals, proformas, budgets, feasibility analyses, including determination of time and funding requirements
  • Build and cultivate relationships to source new business, both nationally and within the trade areas of Cafaro's shopping centers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Implement creative, non-traditional strategies that add value to existing assets.

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or relevant experience in shopping center leasing (preferred but not required).
  • Ideally, 3+ years of experience in shopping center leasing, including lease negotiations and a strong network of industry relationships.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent priority setting, decisiveness, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment at our headquarters in the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles, Ohio.
