Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable Daycare Teacher to join the CFLC Family. This role supports toddler and preschool classrooms by creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The ideal candidate is familiar with the Frog Street curriculum, understands the principles of Trustโ€Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and is committed to building strong, supportive relationships with children and families.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working with toddlers and/or preschoolโ€aged children in a childcare or early education setting.
  • Familiarity with Frog Street curriculum (Infant, Toddler, or Preโ€K).
  • Understanding of TBRI principles or willingness to be trained.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks, including fingerprinting.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication, patience, and relationshipโ€building skills.
  • High school diploma required; CDA or early childhood coursework preferred.
  • Ability to sit on the floor, bend, squat, and actively engage with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Implement ageโ€appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the Frog Street curriculum.
  • Support childrenโ€™s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through intentional interactions and playโ€based learning.
