Job Summary:
The Manager, Leadership Development & Coaching is a key member of the Learning and Development team responsible for designing, implementing and supporting leadership development & coaching solutions across The Aspen Group. This role partners with L&D, Talent Management, HR and business leaders to build leadership capability, confidence and a positive culture through effective learning programs, facilitation and leadership development and coaching experiences.
This individual brings strong project management, instructional design, facilitation and collaboration skills, and uses data and feedback to improve learning experiences, measure impact and support a strong learning culture.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify leadership development & coaching needs across the organization
  • Design and deliver leadership development & coaching solutions, programs, tools and resources. Solutions may include formal learning programs, experiential learning, and blended learning experiences
  • Manage leadership development & coaching programs from end-to-end, including communication, facilitation, and program analysis
  • Continuously evaluate and refine leadership development & coaching solutions to ensure they remain relevant, effective and leveraged across the organization
  • Identify innovative and cost-effective solutions for leadership development & coaching
  • Partner with and manage appropriate external vendors as needed
  • Collaborate with team and department members to complete tasks, support shared priorities and meet timelines
  • Use data and trends to measure impact, identify opportunities and continuously improve learning experiences
  • Stay current on leadership development & coaching trends, tools and best practices, and apply relevant insights to improve learning experiences
  • Partner with others to solve business problems and execute on leadership development & coaching initiatives
  • Plan, organize and execute tasks and activities with urgency and attention to detail
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Education level: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing and facilitating leadership development programs, ideally in a fast-paced organization with a distributed workforce
  • Understanding of adult learning theories, principles and methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience with assessments and coaching practices. Coaching and assessment certifications are a plus
  • Well-versed in digital learning, just-in-time and blended learning strategies
  • Demonstrated skill in instructional design, including developing learning materials, participant resources, and in-person and digital learning assets; proficiency with Rise 360
  • Experience implementing leadership development & coaching programs for a variety of audiences
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs, timelines and stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills to quickly build trust and rapport with a variety of stakeholders and the ability to use data to support recommendations and influence decisions
  • Flexibility and agility to be proactive and manage ambiguity in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent facilitation skills with experience facilitating small and large groups in multiple modalities
  • Experience monitoring and updating programs/processes that support learning impact and business outcomes
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, as well as Zoom
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Role is based in Chicago

Starting Salary: $100,000 with 10% bonus opportunity!
