Job Description Summary:

The Learning & Development Training Specialist responsible for designing, developing, and facilitating leadership development programs that build leadership capability across the organization. This role partners cross-functionally with business leaders and subject matter experts to create impactful learning experiences, supports CARE Academy facilitation, and contributes to leadership program strategy, delivery, and evaluation. The specialist ensures leadership training aligns with organizational priorities and drives measurable behavior change.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver leadership development programs that enhance leadership capability across all levels of the organization

Facilitate CARE Academy programs, leadership cohorts, and workshops in both virtual and in-person environments

Partner with senior leaders, HR, and subject matter experts to identify leadership skill gaps and co-create impactful learning solutions

Develop facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and leadership tools to support program delivery and sustainability

Support the design and execution of leadership learning journeys, including new leader onboarding, emerging leader development, and advanced leadership programs

Provide coaching support to leaders to reinforce learning, drive behavior change, and improve performance

Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and business outcomes; use insights to continuously improve offerings

Collaborate with instructional designers and the broader L&D team to create engaging, scalable content

Support CARE Academy planning, scheduling, and overall participant experience

Maintain alignment of leadership programming with organizational priorities and leadership competencies

Proactively identify and implement improvements to leadership development programs and delivery methods

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required

3+ years of experience facilitating leadership development, management training, or professional development programs

Experience designing and delivering instructor-led training (virtual and in-person)

Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts

Basic Qualifications

Strong facilitation skills with experience leading leadership-focused learning sessions

Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices

Experience supporting leadership development programs or academies

Ability to collaborate with leaders at multiple levels of the organization

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work independently while remaining aligned to team priorities

Preferred Qualifications & Interests

Experience supporting leadership academies or structured leadership programs

Experience developing leadership tools, conversation guides, and coaching resources

Experience facilitating difficult conversations, coaching, or performance-based leadership training

Experience measuring leadership program effectiveness and behavior change

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $62,386.44-$103,999.91
