This roleis part ofoursystem and office-facingSystem Learning Engagement(SLE)Team. As a System Learning Manager, you will collaborate with your peers across systems, Learning Topic Activation teams, Coaching@BCG, and Teaming to provide seamless learning experiences for client-facing staff. You will bring global and regional priority campaigns to life and brainstorm with the broader NAMR L&D team to develop innovative learning offerings to meet identified needs while overseeing the execution of new and existing offerings in the systems you support.

You will partner closely with local system leadership and stakeholders to maintain a strong pulse on the learning needs of the cohorts they support, while also helping them navigate the expansive L&D ecosystem and activate priority topics locally.

You will contribute as part of the broader NAMR L&D team with the end goal of developing a community of lifelong learners who advance the world.

Key accountabilities:

World class learning experiences for client-facing staff

  • Oversee and manage:
    • Local/System execution of in-person programming across your assigned systems (two geographic systems) as part of the broader learning journey curriculum
    • System-specific, ad hoc, and campaign related program development & execution
    • Navigation of cohort-specific client-facing staff to appropriate learning resources
    • Learning experiences and content that models OneBCG and BCG's values
    • Hold full decision rights for learning operations, budget utilization, and FTE resource deployment across your assigned systems
    • Develop deep knowledge and expertise of the needs of all served cohorts and businesses

Stakeholder engagement and management with System Leadership

  • Serve as the primary L&D point of contact for 6 offices and their stakeholder networks, including Office Leaders (OLs), Business Management Leaders (BMLs), L&D MDPs, Talent Managers (TMs), Career Development Advisors (CDAs), and CD BST
  • Partner with System or Office L&D MDPs to enhance the learning culture and participation in your systems
  • Build strong relationships with Office Business Management Leaders (BMLs) and collect ongoing feedback on consulting team experiences and learning journeys
  • Engage in strategic discussions on learning needs with System BMLs and provide input to broader NAMR L&D team

Leadership and Teaming across People Functions (stakeholder experience)

  • Respond to new or acute learning needs by partnering with Manager peers and/or Learning Topic Activation and Coaching team members to share relevant content or rapidly create new content as needed
  • Serve as primary contact for System HR, CD & Staffing team collaboration
  • Contribute to broader cross-functional efforts, partnering cross-People Team on relevant priorities and initiatives
  • Play a senior role in the broader SLE team experience and L&D teaming environment

Operational efficiency, climate, and continuous improvement

  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and responsiveness
  • Sustain exceptional program feedback and drive improvements when necessary
  • Own and manage system budget to meet CT needs while remaining aligned to regional L&D priorities
  • Leverage our dashboards and data to drive to deeper insights

Talent Management and People Development

  • Own the leadership and talent development of 2+ CS2/CS3 direct reports, with accountability for their performance, growth, and career progression
  • Establish explicit System sub-team norms and cultivate an inclusive team environment
  • Provide on-going feedback to team members and actively participate in the L&D and Teaming Development Committee (LTDC) process
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by NAMR L&D Leadership

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree with at least five years of relevant business experience, preferably in learning and development, career development, recruiting, or other people-related functions
  • People Management and leadership experience, preferably in a professional services firm context.
  • Senior stakeholder management and demonstrated ability to manage large projects with ambiguity
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI tools and AI-powered learning platforms
  • Proven ability to design and scale learning or upskilling initiatives end-to-end, with measurable business outcomes
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to flex style across levels
  • Highest ethical standards and ability to respect all BCG and employee information as personal and confidential

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of a large NAMR L&D team that supports over 4,500 non-MDP core, expert and SBU consulting team members across North America and delivers over 200 local training programs a year.

Format

At BCG, our people and relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that in-person work is essential to our culture, mentorship, and professional development. That's why we operate on a hybrid model, with the expectation that team members will be in the office 3 to 5 days per week. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is not intended for remote or virtual work.

Compensation

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

The base salary range for this role is $111,000- $130,000.

This is an estimated range and specific base salaries within the range depend on factors such as office location, experience, and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a discretionary bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
