As part of the Learning & Development team, you'll help build the knowledge, skills, and confidence of employees across the organization-creating learning experiences that improve performance, strengthen partnerships, and support business growth.

The Training Manager is responsible for managing enterprise learning initiatives that support Inside Sales and Sales Support. This role serves as the primary project manager for learning requests, partnering with business leaders to assess needs, prioritize work, oversee curriculum development, and ensure high-quality learning solutions are delivered on time.

Working closely with the Director of Leadership Development & Sales Enablement, Digital Learning, and business stakeholders, the Training Manager designs, develops, and delivers engaging learning experiences, including onboarding, systems training, skill development, and reinforcement programs. This role facilitates both in-person and virtual instructor-led training sessions, ensuring learners are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform successfully.

The Training Manager drives consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across all learning programs while maintaining enterprise standards for instructional design and learner experience.

This position is an individual contributor and does not have direct reports.

WHAT YOU'LL DO ON A DAILY BASIS

Learning Strategy & Project Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise learning requests across supported business functions.
  • Partner with leaders to identify learning needs, define project scope, establish priorities, and manage timelines.
  • Coordinate multiple learning projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.

Curriculum Development & Learning Programs

  • Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and blended learning solutions.
  • Build onboarding, role-based, systems, process, product, and professional development programs.
  • Create reinforcement learning, micro-learning, and performance support resources.
  • Ensure learning content remains current, relevant, and aligned with business processes.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Collaborate with leaders across Sales, Customer Care, Financial Services, Sales Support, and other enterprise functions.
  • Consult with business partners to recommend learning solutions that improve performance.
  • Build trusted relationships while managing stakeholder expectations regarding scope, priorities, and delivery timelines.

Learning Standards & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain enterprise standards for instructional design, learner experience, branding, and content quality.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using learner feedback, business metrics, and performance data.
  • Recommend process improvements that increase learning efficiency, scalability, and business impact.
  • Ensure learning assets align with digital learning standards and AI-supported development practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Experience supporting Sales, Customer Care, Financial Services, Operations, or other enterprise business functions.
  • Experience designing and delivering onboarding programs, role-based training, and ongoing skill development initiatives.
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading engaging instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid learning experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Experience developing digital learning, micro-learning, and blended learning solutions.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learner engagement best practices.
  • Experience using AI-enabled content development tools, learning technologies, and learning management systems.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and managing corporate learning programs.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
