POSITION SUMMARY: 

Cority is the industry-leading Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality software provider to the world’s largest enterprises. The company is growing rapidly and is expanding its global footprint. At the same time, its market leading SaaS platform continues to expand and evolve. To support this growth, we are seeking a Sales Learning and Development Specialist to define, design and execute a comprehensive learning and development program to educate and train our sales team on Cority Software. It is envisioned that they will develop and expand the function to support a formal Cority Certification program.

The Sales Learning and Development Specialist will create a curriculum to ensure the sales team has the product knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their respective roles and leverage the full potential of Cority software.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design a repeatable, scalable education program in support of learning objectives and outcomes for Cority’s revenue team.
  • Work with internal cross-functional teams to design and develop curriculum and enablement materials to support training and enablement programs
  • Develop and manage an onboarding and training schedule
  • Track and measure sales performance and progress, as well as report and present relevant data back to sales management.
  • Create playbooks for the different revenue teams and operational documentation for training and onboarding
  • Partner with HR to ensure clear and effective communication on new hire start dates and onboarding periods
  • Develop surveys and collect feedback to help determine strengths and areas of opportunity within the program
  • Support on-going training initiatives by developing content, and delivering training sessions
  • Identify training tools, platforms, and new resources to improve program productivity and effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • University or College Degree in Business, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in instructional design
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player, willing to share ideas and information with peers and business leaders
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Demonstrated understanding of technical training best practices
  • Knowledge of learning management solutions
  • Understanding of training best practices for SaaS / software 
  • Experience in EHSQ is an asset.
