Data and analytics processes drive many of those same capabilities to perform and guide future strategic directions, are you up for the challenge?

What you will be doing:

The Data Engineering Lead will play a critical role in driving innovation and growth for the Banking Solutions business. As a Data Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our Data and Analytics platform team to install and run our cutting-edge data and analytics platforms. You will be responsible for implementing high-quality data solutions that meet our business objectives and exceed user expectations. Your technical expertise and strategic vision will drive the success of our Data and Analytics projects and contribute to the overall growth of our company.

  • Lead the development of robust and scalable Data and Analytics solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Implement high-quality codebase using cloud based DBaaS and application Technologies.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide data science and analytics expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive product innovation.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence within the data platform team, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data and analytics topics, provide technical guidance to stakeholders, and contribute to technical documentation, governance routines and knowledge sharing efforts.

What you bring:

  • Strong preference for work on technology transition from on premise RDBMS and NoSQL solutions to cloud-based data platforms on AWS
  • Experience in developing complex, high-performance analytics applications with a focus on user experience, performance, and scalability; including standing up and running data and analytics tools such as Celebrus, Quantum Metrics, Tealium, etc.
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices such as Agile methodologies, continuous integration, test-driven development (TDD) and continuous improvement through measurement.
  • Familiarity with data modeling principles, design guidelines, and design techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and leverage new technologies, tools, and techniques to solve complex technical challenges and improved development processes.
  • Proactive in identifying potential issues, proposing solutions, and driving continuous improvement in code quality, performance, and best practices.
  • Preferred degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar relevant field preferred with demonstrated project development and leadership skills.
