WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Under the direction of Operations Leadership, with a strong partnership and dotted-line relationship to Sales, lead the development, launch, optimization, and management of Carbliss products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between Operations, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory, Co-Manufacturers, and Suppliers.
  • Lead product initiatives from concept through commercialization and lifecycle management.
  • Manage new product development projects, line extensions, reformulations, packaging updates, and product optimization efforts.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to evaluate market opportunities, consumer trends, competitive activity, retailer requests, and portfolio gaps.
  • Manage stage-gate processes and project timelines for innovation and commercialization initiatives.
  • Coordinate formulation trials, ingredient sourcing, initial sensory evaluations, shelf-life testing, and specification management.
  • Lead packaging development efforts including artwork coordination, component approvals, and supplier/production readiness.
  • Manage regulatory compliance requirements with TTB and product registration across all applicable markets in coordination with Business Development.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain team to ensure ingredient availability, supplier readiness, inventory alignment, and production planning.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers and co-manufacturers for product launch activities.
  • Monitor product performance after launch and identify opportunities for optimization, cost savings, packaging improvements, or reformulations.
  • Support portfolio management activities including SKU rationalization, product transitions, and product discontinuations.
  • Develop and maintain commercialization scorecards, launch readiness tools, and lifecycle management dashboards.
  • Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful product execution.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • Minimum of 5 years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience with direct responsibility for bringing products from concept through commercialization.
  • Experience managing multiple product development or commercialization projects simultaneously.
  • Food, beverage, beverage alcohol, or adjacent consumer goods experience preferred. Understanding of product development, packaging development, supply chain management, and commercialization processes.
  • Familiarity with co-manufacturing environments and supplier management. Experience working with regulatory requirements, product registrations, specifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and manage time effectively. Well versed in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP systems and project management software preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and satisfactory driving record required.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Willingness to grow and take on new responsibilities as needed.

Applicants currently employed by Carbliss wholesalers or distributors must obtain written approval from their employer to be considered for this position.

This full-time, 40-hour per week role is Monday through Friday and offers a flexible hybrid schedule, with two days working from home and three days working in the office each week.
